The National Weather Service in Charleston has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for portions of...
  McIntosh County in southeastern Georgia...

* Until 615 PM EDT

* At 200 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of heavy rain moving 
  inland associated with Hurricane Irma. Although rain has 
  temporarily ended for some areas, additional bands of heavy rain 
  will move through the area later this afternoon. The risk for 
  flash flooding will continues. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Darien, Jones, Wolf Island, Eulonia, Valona, South Newport, Cox and
  Meridian.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
