The National Weather Service in Des Moines  has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Tama County in central Iowa...

* Until 1030 AM CDT.

* At 436 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 
  inches of rain have fallen wiht locally higher totals. Flash 
  flooding is expected to begin shortly. Additional rainfall of 1 to 
  2 inches may occur over the next several hours. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Toledo, Tama, Traer, Dysart, Clutier, Elberon, Vining, Tf Clark
  State Park and Toledo Municipal Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
