The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Hamilton County in south central Illinois...

* Until 645 AM CDT Saturday.

* At 936 PM CDT, Law enforcement reported water rescues in the 
  southern part of Hamilton County. Radar indicates up to 4 inches 
  of rain has fallen near the Dale community and in southern parts 
  of the county. This will lead to significant flooding in poor 
  drainage areas and flooding in areas that do not normally flood. 
  This is a dangerous situation.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Law Enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Broughton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
