The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana  has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Grant County in central Indiana...
  Blackford County in east central Indiana...
  Southern Wells County in northeastern Indiana...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 639 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates that between 1 
  and 3 inches of rain has fallen across Howard county. These storms 
  will overspread the warning area through 730 PM EDT. Runoff from 
  this heavy rainfall will result in flash flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Marion, Hartford City, Gas City, Upland, Fairmount, Montpelier,
  Jonesboro, Sweetser, Swayzee, Van Buren, Matthews, Sims, Converse,
  Nottingham, Fowlerton, Shamrock Lakes, Poneto, Mcnatts, Landess and
  Mount Zion.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
