* At 507 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated a line of thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain moving across the warned area. Between 1 and 
  2 inches of rain have already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts 
  up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area with this line. Flash 
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

  Irvine, Beattyville, McKee, Booneville, Fincastle, Ravenna, Old 
  Orchard, Arvel, Banford, Leighton, Earnestville, Wind Cave, 
  Evelyn, Yellow Rock, Willow Shoals, Wild Dog, Cressmont, Lakes, 
  New Zion and Alumbaugh.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are 
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded 
roads. Find an alternate route.

Report flooding to local law enforcement.
