The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Freeborn County in south central Minnesota...
  Southern Waseca County in south central Minnesota...

* Until 200 PM CDT.

* At 1150 AM CDT, emergency management and spotters reported that 
  small stream and street flooding continues in and around New 
  Richland. Between 3.5 and 5 inches of rain fell overnight in the 
  area, and though only light showers are expected for the next few 
  hours, localized flooding will continue through early afternoon.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Emergency management and spotters reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  New Richland, Hartland, Otisco and Matawan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
