The National Weather Service in Raleigh has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Davidson County in central North Carolina...
  Eastern Forsyth County in central North Carolina...
  Guilford County in central North Carolina...
  Randolph County in central North Carolina...

* Until 700 PM EST.

* At 521 PM EST, thunderstorms producing heavy rain have caused 
  significant flooding in Davidson County, Randolph and Guilford 
  Counties.  Buffalo Creek is out of its banks in Greensboro and 
  many of creeks around the area will continue be flooded this 
  evening.  Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Greensboro, High Point, Asheboro, Lexington, Randleman, North 
  Carolina Zoo, Badin Lake, Thomasville, Kernersville, Seagrove, 
  McLeansville, Archdale, Summerfield, Trinity, Gibsonville, 
  Stokesdale, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, Liberty and Ramseur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
