The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Grand Forks County in northeastern North Dakota...
  Northeastern Nelson County in northeastern North Dakota...

* Until 700 AM CDT.

* At 218 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area late Friday evening into early 
  Saturday morning. While rain and decreased in intensity, flash 
  flooding is already occurring.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Larimore, Northwood, Michigan, Gilby, Petersburg, Arvilla and
  Dahlen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
