The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  North Central Cuming County in northeastern Nebraska...
  Northwestern Thurston County in northeastern Nebraska...
  Southeastern Wayne County in northeastern Nebraska...

* Until 1100 AM CDT.

* At 603 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Earlier this morning between 1 
  and 2 inches of rain fell in this area. Additional rainfall 
  amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash 
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Wayne, Wakefield, Emerson, Thurston, Winnebago Reservation and 
  Omaha Reservation.

Highways 16 and 35 near Wayne and Wakefield could be impacted by 
this flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
