* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Chemung County in central New York...
  Southeastern Steuben County in central New York...

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 139 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain in I-86  West Bound closed in Elmira. . 
  Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall 
  amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash 
  flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Elmira, Corning, West Elmira, Southport, Big Flats, Horseheads, 
  Elmira Heights, Caton, Erin, South Corning, Horseheads North, Pine 
  City, Breesport, East Corning, Lockwood, Fisherville, Mark Twain 
  State Park, Tompkins Corners, Newtown Battlefield State Park and 
  Webb Mills.
