The National Weather Service in Columbia has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  West Central Lexington County in central South Carolina...
  Southeastern Saluda County in central South Carolina...

* Until 130 AM EDT.

* At 1109 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain which are expected to move into the warned area over 
  the next few hours leading to flash flooding.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Batesburg-Leesville, Summit, Fredonia, Cedar Grove Fire Station, 
  Murray, Delmar, South Shore Marina, Hollow Creek Public Park, 
  Oswald Park and Hibernia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooded roadways are nearly impossible to see at night. Avoid 
traveling in this area. Turn around, don't drown.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
