The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Archer County in northern Texas...
  Baylor County in northern Texas...
  Southern Foard County in northern Texas...
  Knox County in northern Texas...

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 544 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Areas of between 1 and 3 inches 
  of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches 
  are possible in the warned area through the early evening as 
  storms move from west to east. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Seymour, Archer City, Munday, Knox City, Benjamin, Holliday, 
  Scotland, Windthorst, Goree, Megargel, Mabelle, Lake Kemp, Red 
  Springs, Bomarton, Westover, Lake Diversion, Vera, Dundee, Lake 
  Kickapoo and Rhineland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
