* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Deaf Smith County in the panhandle of Texas...

* Until 100 AM CDT Friday.

* At 504 PM CDT, Trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain with water flowing over portions of Highway 
  385, 8 miles south of Vega. . Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  mainly rural areas of Northeastern Deaf Smith County

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
