The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Grand County in east central Utah...
  Northeastern San Juan County in southeastern Utah...

* Until 745 PM MDT.

* At 442 PM MDT, Emergency management reported water spilling over 
  Powerhouse Dam on Mill Creek. Water in the basin is due to heavy 
  rainfall estimated between 0.5 and 0.8 inches. Flash flooding is 
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Runoff from heavy
           rainfall and water spilling over Powerhouse Dam.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Moab.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Mill Creek and North Fork Mill Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
