The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  King George County in central Virginia...
  Southeastern Stafford County in northern Virginia...

* Until 945 PM EDT.

* At 635 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain that has led to multiple areas flooded along 
  Kings Highway and Rt. 3. Between 3.5 and 6.5 inches of rain have 
  fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
