The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  The burn scar in...
  Central Ferry County in northeastern Washington...

* Until 530 PM PDT.

* At 245 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain over the Summit Trail burn scar. Between 0.75 and 1.5 
  inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

Excessive rainfall over the Summit Trail burn scar will result in 
debris flow moving through the burn scar. The debris flow can 
consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms in and around
           the Summit Trail burn scar.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of areas in and around the Summit Trail burn
           scar.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Inchelium, Hall Creek, Sitdown Creek, Sleepy Hollow Creek.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Carson Creek, Grizzly Creek, Sitdown Creek, Onion Creek, Barnaby 
  Creek, Johns Mountain Creek, North Fork Hall Creek, Hall Creek, 
  Lynx Creek and Sleepy Hollow Creek.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
