Borderland on today in between a ridge to the east and a strong 
upper trough to the west. Scattered to widespread showers and 
thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening, lasting into 
the overnight hours. Conditions improve by Sunday morning.

New Mexico, including most of Dona Ana County and most of Sierra 
County.

The threat for widespread flash flooding has shifted east, 
therefore, the Flash Flood Watch is being cancelled.
