...HEAVY RAIN AND FLASH FLOODING POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT INTO SATURDAY
MORNING ACROSS MUCH OF WEST TEXAS AND SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO...

.Pacific moisture and energy from former Hurricane Sergio is 
moving across the area early this morning. While a general 1 to 2
inches of rain is expected, training of storms could lead to 
locally higher amounts. Already saturated soils could result in 
greater runoff that may result in flash flooding... especially in
urban areas. This heavy rain will move east out of the area later
this morning ending the flooding threat.

The Flash Flood Watch for portions of southeast New Mexico and
Texas has been cancelled. The heavy rain has moved out of the area
and no longer a threat.
