...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be 
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, and west central 
  Virginia, including the following areas, in central Virginia, 
  Campbell. In south central Virginia, Bedford, Charlotte, Halifax 
  and Pittsylvania. In west central Virginia, Alleghany VA and 
  Botetourt.

* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur 
  in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue through
    Saturday morning. Rainfall totals may exceed 2 to 3 inches in
    localized areas, resulting in flooding.
