...STRONG NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS AND LARGE DANGEROUS WAVES WILL
CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA COAST TODAY...

.Gusty north to northeast winds will continue today and slowly
diminish tonight. The strong winds will produce large dangerous 
seas of 8 to 13 feet from Cape Lookout north producing minor 
beach erosion into this evening. The strong northerly winds will 
also produce high than normal water levels over the southern 
Pamlico Sound adjacent to Pamlico and Carteret counties, and along
the eastern portion of the Neuse River in eastern Craven county.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Newport/Morehead City has
cancelled the Coastal Flood Advisory.

Water levels will remain elevated adjacent to the southern 
Pamlico Sound and Lower Neuse River, however flooding impacts are 
expected to be very minor.
