FOR EAST CENTRAL CHEROKEE AND CENTRAL CLAY COUNTIES...

At 501 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast of
Nantahala Lake, or 11 miles southwest of Franklin, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
