...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN SABINE PARISH...SOUTHEASTERN NACOGDOCHES...
SOUTHEASTERN SHELBY...SOUTHEASTERN ANGELINA...SAN AUGUSTINE AND
SABINE COUNTIES...

At 1127 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hemphill, or
15 miles northwest of Toledo Bend Dam, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Milam, Many, Huntington, San Augustine, Zwolle, Hemphill, Pineland,
Patroon, Bland Lake, Rosevine, Macune, Etoile, Zavalla, Chireno,
Huxley, Noble, Broaddus, Bronson, McElroy, and Yellowpine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for eastern Texas.
A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
northwestern Louisiana.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
