* Until 715 AM EDT.

* At 621 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Highway 94 Bridge to 8 nm west of The Vicinity
  Of Gum Neck, moving northeast at 40 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Albemarle Sound, The Center Of The Albemarle Sound, Highway 94
  Bridge, The Vicinity Of Frying Pan, Bull Bay/scuppernong River, The
  Mouth Of The Perquimans River, Alligator River Bridge, The Mouth Of
  The Alligator River, and Edenton.
