The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach FL out 20 NM...
  Coastal waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee FL out 20 NM...
  Waters from Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 1030 PM EDT.

* At 945 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 6 nm northwest
  of Marco Island to 6 nm northwest of Northwest Cape Sable, moving
  northeast at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Chokoloskee, Big Lostmans Bay, Cape Romano, Northwest Cape Sable,
  Highland Point, Marco Island, Chevelier Bay, Shark Point, Cape
  Romano Aquatic Preserve, Naples, Middle Cape Sable, D Tower, and
  Whitewater Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for southwestern
Florida...and the adjacent coastal waters.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
