* Special Marine Warning for...
  Cross Sound...
  Icy Strait...
  Southeast Alaska Outside Waters From Cape Edgecumbe to Cape
  Fairweather...

* Until 245 PM AKDT.

* At 221 PM AKDT, satellite imagery indicated a severe thunderstorm,
  capable of producing winds to nearly 50 knots and large hail. This
  storm was located near Port Althorp, or near Yakobi Rock, moving
  northwest at 15 knots.

* Locations impacted include...
  Port Althorp, Graves Harbor, Three Hill Island, Surge Bay, Cape
  Spencer, Yakobi Rock and Elfin Cove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, large hail, high
waves, dangerous lightning, and heavy rains. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately...until this storm passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
