...High Water On The Koyukuk River This Week...

Runoff from heavy rain in the Brooks Range late last week is 
moving down the Koyukuk River. The crest of high water is expected
to reach Hughes this evening and Huslia on Thursday. High water 
will likely cause erosion of the riverbank at Huslia. Flooding is
not expected but residents should prepare for high water and move
loose items up from the riverbank.
