...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EAST CENTRAL LA PAZ...EASTERN
YUMA AND MARICOPA COUNTIES UNTIL 1130 PM MST...

At 1041 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of scattered 
showers and thunderstorms in eastern Yuma and western Maricopa 
Counties. The individual showers and thunderstorm cells were moving 
toward the northeast at 58 mph, strong enough to produce gusty 
surface winds of 35 to 50 mph.

Strong winds will be isolated though, but since the line of storms 
will move slowly east and eventually across the Phoenix metro area 
by morning. the potential for strong wind gusts will last through 
the night.
 
Locations impacted include...
Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear, Buckeye, El Mirage, Wickenburg,
Youngtown, Gila Bend, New River, Tonopah, Sun City West, Waddell,
Circle City, Sun City, Wittmann, Litchfield Park, Palo Verde, Aguila
and White Tank Mountain Park.
