PDT...

At 509 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a few strong thunderstorms 
11 miles west of Randsburg, or 18 miles southwest of Ridgecrest in 
the vicinity of Red Rock Canyon. These storms were nearly 
stationary. 

Dime size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm along with heavy rain and possible flooding. 

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Kern
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
