...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MARIPOSA...CENTRAL
TUOLUMNE AND NORTH CENTRAL MADERA COUNTIES THROUGH 145 AM PDT...

At 112 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Yosemite Valley, or 16 miles north of Yosemite South Entrance, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Yosemite National, Yosemite Valley, Sunrise High Sierra Camp,
Tuolumne Meadows, Merced Lake Ranger Station, Morraine Dome
Campground, Camp 4 Campground, Snow Flat, Ostrander Lake, Dana
Meadows, Little Yosemite Valley Ranger Station, Yosemite Valley
Vistor Center, Tuolumne Meadows Visitor Center, Upper Pines
Campground, Tioga Pass, Merced Lake High Sierra Camp, Little Yosemite
Valley Campground, Porcupine Flat Campground, Badger Pass Ranger
Station, and White Wolf Campground.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
