...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL TULARE COUNTY THROUGH
615 PM PDT...

At 541 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles northeast of East Porterville, or 15 miles northeast of
Porterville, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Camp Nelson, Oak Opening, and Springville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
