At 514 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms in the eastern San Gabriel mountains and eastern San Gabriel Valley, extending from Monrovia to Glendora, impacting Interstate 210. Storms were moving to the southeast at around 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, accumulating hail up to one half inch diameter, frequent cloud to ground lightning, and brief heavy downpours causing local roadway flooding.
