...CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LOS ANGELES COUNTY
INCLUDING THE SAN GABRIEL MOUNTAINS AND SAN GABRIEL VALLEY THROUGH 615 PM PDT...

At 514 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms
in the eastern San Gabriel mountains and eastern San Gabriel Valley, extending 
from Monrovia to Glendora, impacting Interstate 210. Storms were moving to 
the southeast at around 20 mph.  

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, accumulating hail up to one half inch diameter, 
frequent cloud to ground lightning, and brief heavy downpours causing local roadway
flooding. The most intense conditions are currently in the foothills, but expected
to track towards the 210 freeway shortly. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.
