...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL MONTEREY COUNTY
THROUGH 430 AM PDT...

At 401 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Partington Ridge, or near Big Sur Village, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Big Sur Village and Pico Blanco Campground.

This includes Highway 1 between Mile Markers 39 and 40, and between
Mile Markers 42 and 50.
