CENTRAL SANTA CLARA...NORTHWESTERN SAN BENITO AND NORTHWESTERN
MONTEREY COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM PDT...

At 816 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 
training over Amesti, or over Corralitos, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Watsonville, Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Corralitos, Aptos, Brown Valley
Road, Freedom, Rio Del Mar, Amesti, Interlaken, Aptos Hills-Larkin
Valley, Pajaro, Aptos Hills-Larkin, Las Lomas, Aromas, San Martin,
and Day Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Storms will be capable of producing large quantities of accumulating
hail, which can make for slick and hazardous driving conditions. Slow
down, and use caution if driving.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
