Western Scott...Johnson...Northern Washington...Jones...Muscatine and
Clinton counties through 745 AM CST...

At 615 AM CST, a snow squall was located along a line extending from
near Canton to Olin to near Richmond. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Visibilities less than a quarter of a mile, rapidly 
         dropping temperatures and winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar and observations.

IMPACTS...Ice and snow covered surfaces including roadways, bridges, 
          overpasses, and sidewalks. Difficulty seeing while driving.

Davenport, Iowa City, Muscatine, Maquoketa, Anamosa, Tipton, West
Branch, Durant, Mechanicsville, Stanwood, Coralville, North Liberty,
Eldridge, DeWitt, West Liberty, Wilton, Kalona, Solon, Tiffin and
Walcott.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 237 and 291.
 Interstate 380 between mile markers 1 and 2.
 Interstate 280 near mile marker 1.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this snow
squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads could
lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the squall passes 
your location. Exit the highway if you are able to and wait for the 
squall to pass.
