Patchy dense fog is developing over far southern Iowa as a strong storm and warm front is helping to focus moisture over the region. Visibility has dropped to a quarter mile to 1/2 mile at a few locations and the fog is expected to expand into the evening hours. Visibility will be around a quarter mile at times this evening. If traveling over or into southern Iowa this evening, be on the lookout for rapidly changing visibility and use caution when lower visibility is encountered. Use low beam headlights and allow for extra time to reach your destination safely. The fog will persist until mid evening west of Interstate 35 and nearly until midnight east of Interstate 35. $$ REV
