CLARK...NORTH CENTRAL FLOYD...SOUTHERN SCOTT...EAST CENTRAL
WASHINGTON...NORTHWESTERN OLDHAM AND WESTERN TRIMBLE COUNTIES THROUGH
1230 AM EDT...

At 1159 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles south of Scottsburg, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Madison, Charlestown, Sellersburg, Lexington, Hanover, Blue River,
Saluda, Owen, Borden, and Bethlehem.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Louisville.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for
south central Indiana...and central Kentucky.
