...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN LEAVENWORTH...
SOUTHEASTERN ATCHISON AND PLATTE COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM CDT...

At 524 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Leavenworth, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Leavenworth, Lansing, Platte City, Weston, Edgerton, Camden Point,
Ferrelview, Tracy, Farley, Ridgely, Fort Leavenworth, Stillings,
Beverly, Kansas City Intl Arpt, Hoover, East Leavenworth, and
Lowemont.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 11 and 29.
 Interstate 435 between mile markers 26 and 39.
