The combination of clearing skies, light winds and lingering low- level moisture is allowing fog to develop and become locally dense late tonight. This fog will continue to expand through the rest of the night, but will likely end up densest in the valleys. Visibilities will drop below one quarter of a mile at times in the thickest fog. If traveling tonight, be sure to slow down and use low beam headlights when encountering fog. The fog should gradually lift and clear out Wednesday morning. $$ GEERTSON
