...Elevated Fire Weather Conditions This Afternoon...

Temperatures this afternoon are forecast to reach the lower 70s, 
with dewpoint temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s. This 
will yield relative humidity values between 20 and 30 percent 
during the afternoon hours. Wind gusts are currently forecast 
around 20 MPH this afternoon, though a few gusts up to 25 MPH are 
possible. These conditions will be favorable for ignited fires to 
quickly spread this afternoon, especially with dry fuels. 
Therefore, burning is discouraged.
