FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM EDT...

At 147 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles northeast of Louisburg to Dortches to 7
miles southeast of Rocky Mount. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Rocky Mount, Roanoke Rapids, Tarboro, Nashville, Halifax, Scotland
Neck, Dortches, Littleton, Red Oak, and Enfield.
