At 1230 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Bryson City, or 4 miles west of Smoky
Mountains-Oconaluftee, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.
