At 1258 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Sylva, or near B.R. Parkway-Smoky Mountains To Balsam
Gap, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.
