...AREAS OF DENSE FOG ARE OCCURRING ALONG THE OUTER BANKS MAINLY 
SOUTH OF OREGON INLET THIS MORNING... 

Widespread fog was occurring across the Outer Banks early this 
morning. The fog was especially dense in areas south of Oregon 
Inlet where visibilities were locally a quarter to a half mile and
were creating hazardous driving conditions. The fog is forecast 
to erode around 10 AM as southerly winds increase across the 
region.

Drivers are urged to slow down, use low beam headlights, and 
leave plenty of following distance between vehicles. Expect travel
delays and allow for extra time to reach your destination.
