BLADEN...NORTHEASTERN BRUNSWICK AND NORTHEASTERN COLUMBUS COUNTIES
THROUGH 915 PM EDT...

At 813 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Elizabethtown to near
Kelly. Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Whiteville, Burgaw, Elizabethtown, Surf City, Rowan, Hampstead, Lake
Waccamaw, Northwest, Sandyfield, Topsail Beach, Penderlea, Point
Caswell, Maple Hill, Hallsboro, Long Creek, Cape Fear Community
College North Campus, Southeastern Community College, Currie, Castle
Hayne, and Carvers.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 388 and 416.
 Interstate 140 between mile markers 15 and 20.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
