...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN NEW HANOVER COUNTY
THROUGH 645 PM EDT...

At 618 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Wilmington, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Figure Eight Island, Mayfaire,
Hightsville, Wrightsboro, Wilmington International Airport, Silver
Lake, Murrayville, Masonboro, University Of North Carolina At
Wilmington, Windemere, Bayshore, Ogden, Porters Neck, Landfall, Kings
Grant, Seagate, Scotts Hill, and Myrtle Grove.
