...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN MCDOWELL...
RUTHERFORD AND EASTERN POLK COUNTIES THROUGH 115 AM EDT...

At 1227 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Rutherfordton, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Forest City, Rutherfordton, Spindale, Ellenboro, Bostic, Lake Lure,
Cliffside, Green Hill, Mill Spring, and Thermal City.
