NORTHWESTERN LOGAN AND NORTHERN EMMONS COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM CDT...

At 619 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 10 miles north of Hazelton, or 25 miles north of
Linton, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Linton, Steele, Hazelton, Sterling, Braddock, Driscoll, Mckenzie,
Temvik, Moffit, and Kintyre.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central North Dakota. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains
in effect until midnight CDT for southeastern North Dakota.
