...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Grant and
southeastern Hidalgo Counties through 945 AM MDT...

At 900 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles north of Alamo Hueco, moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Playas Valley, Hachita Valley, and Big Hatchet Refuge.
