An upper disturbance is dropping south across parts of south central New Mexico. This feature has brought some rain showers to the lowlands late last night and this morning, and for elevations above 7000 ft in the Sacs, some lighter snow is falling. Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible in this area before tapering off late this morning. Snow levels will rise to around 9000 ft this afternoon, so any precipitation over the Sacs should be rain. Snow levels will fall again tonight to around 6000 ft, so a few snow showers are possible again across the Sacs. $$ Hefner
