...SNOW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSNOW POSSIBLE FOR THE GILA...

Beginning this afternoon lasting into the evening, scattered 
showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to develop over the 
Gila. Snow levels will be around 7000 feet but may drop as low as 
6500 feet in any heavier snow bands. 1 to 3" of snow is possible 
over 7000 feet, but thundersnow may produce 1 to 2 inch per hour 
snow fall rates leading to higher totals. Isolated areas could see
over 6". For areas below 7000 feet, brief accumulations are 
possible beneath any heavier snow showers.
